I like to watch films that makes me not to think anything. Like on holidays or after a long day at hard work. Of course, I like to laugh at comedies but getting excited by action movies is as good as that. 007 is one of my favorites, I especially love the current Bond, Daniel Craig’s Bond. He is so sharp that I can barely keep up with his actions, the story is comfortably complexed, and slowly my mind becomes empty.

I get the same feeling about the music. I don’t know who said rock ‘n’ roll must not be longer than three minutes, but I absolutely agree with him (or her).
So, let’s start with these guys, the saviors of rock’n’roll what was becoming a complex art form.

For me, this band is the ultimate band that can create 3 minutes magic. This sound is nothing short of magic. If you don’t feel happy to listen to it, you should know that you are in a very serious condition.

 Another song about this man who is my favourite of the many great musicians of the time when rock and roll was born.

I’m sure there are many more bands that have been handed over the magic by The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly and more like this band in the USA. But I know that they are not heard in Japan often. I think that is very unfortunate if you have missed to listen to them.

It’s over three minutes long, but don’t sweat the details, just enjoy!

Finally, my song. As you may have noticed, in 007, Mr. Bond keeps failing from beginning to end. I often wonder if the problem would be solved more easily if Bond did nothing. This is the song I wrote when I realised that.

“Laugh your failure off!” That’s what this song is about. And for me, it’s a song I think I inherited from Buddy Holly and The Beach Boys. (It’s too fast for me to play the guitar properly…)
