Beach Yunko says: Detective dramas, detective stories, and soul music are inseparable.
If something stirs me up, I usually call it detective soul.
If I were Yusaku Matsuda or Shoken (both stars of Japanese detective and detective dramas in the 1970s), I would probably spend a ton of time with this kind of music.
The music selections range from recent soul to disco.
