ITOI Akane says: This work was created based on the image of Iceland during the settlement period.
When I visited Iceland last year, I went to the Settlement Exhibition.
I wrote the song based on what I felt at that time, imagining the lives of the people at that time.
The country of Iceland is a very important place to me.
I would be happy if I could warmly express the beginning of the history of my beloved Iceland.

*The title of the song refers to the year 871 (two years before and after) when there was a major eruption in Iceland. It is believed that the settlement began shortly before that time.
